We investigated different 2D shapes to find out which ones tessellate (fit together without leaving gaps.) We decided hexagons would be the best shape for our ‘Y4 Fit Together’ display.
We are able to order 3- digit numbers in ascending and descending order. We were even able to get into order without speaking to each other!
We enjoyed using shapes, picture cards and games on the |Interactive Whiteboard to sort 3D shapes. We started off by sorting for different criteria that we had been given and then sorted for our own criteria. We are able to use Venn and Carroll diagrams confidently!
As part of Anti- bullying week, we thought about our strengths, how we all want to be different things when we grow up and how everyone works together to make a community. We also enjoyed taking part in a fun drama activity based on the theme of all equal, all different, all together.
Congratulations to everyone in Y4T for winning the ‘Best Attendance in October ‘ popcorn party! We really enjoyed our treat and are trying our hardest to win again in November!
